Award Season Glamour
The frocks were just as glamorous as ever at this year's Golden
Globes, but fresh was a set of retro haircuts from the likes of
Zooey Deschanel, Nicole Ritchie, Jean Shrimpton and our personal
favourite Michelle Williams, who won an award for her film 'My Week
with Marilyn'. We couldn't get enough of the dresses, which were
more glam than retro in spite of what we've seen on catwalk Spring
collections, and we loved Lea Michele's bold and sparkly Marchesa
number in particular - it was rightly the talk of the town!
The fabulous Elle Macpherson, Jessica Biel and Reese Witherspoon
chose an on-trend nude lip, and though Diana Agron differed by
boldly marrying her dramatic red Giles dress with a classic red lip
look, she was in good company; on the red carpet with Brad Pitt,
Angelina Jolie also wowed with stunning dark red lips and an
Atelier Versace dress. To get a natural lip, try new Collection 2000 Lip
Cream in Powder Puff, or Lock N
Hold Lipgloss in Rock Steady. For a bold lip, use the
award-winning Collection
2000 Lasting Colour Lipstick in Queen of Hearts, or
Volume
Sensation Lipstick in Ruby Red to get the look.
Obviously it's not just about the dress, lips and hair - it's
also about the eyes, and whether it's a bold colour shadow like
Emma Stone or subtle wing like Kate Winslet that you aspire to,
Collection 2000 has the products you need to create your red
carpet-inspired look. For a deep sweep of colour, use
Collection 2000 Trio Eyeshadow in Cookie Dough or
Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Eyeliner to create a wing; for
some added glitz, experiment with
Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liners or Metallic
Cream Eyeshadows to add some edge to a classic look.
