Follow the FAB set
Introducing the Absolutely FABulous four. In 2009, we ran a competition to find the UKs most stylish and fashion savvy girls. The most fabulous four would form the Collection 2000 FAB Set. To win, entrants had to create their very best fashion and make-up look and tell us what they thought about Collection 2000.
Chloe M, Nina L, Nina S-C and Sarah V really stood out from the crowd and became our FAB Set winners. You can check out all the entries in our Style Gallery.
Since winning, the fabulous foursome get to attend glitzy events like London Fashion Week, help out at style shoots, visit fashion magazines and loads more. Lucky things! You can follow all their adventures on the FAB Set Blog - each of the girls regularly write their own entries.

Meet our FAB four

Chloe McCall
Style Inspiration for Rock Chic
My inspiration comes from designer catwalk shows including Dior, Alexander McQueen and Prada. Make-up artists that inspire me include Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury and Bobbi Brown.
Make-up Used
I applied a heavy foundation, then powdered and contoured the face with a translucent loose powder and a touch of bronze beneath the cheek bones. I applied Dazzle Me! Eye Dust on the eyes in ‘Stonewash’ ‘Fairy Dust’ and ‘Magical’. I lined the eyes and used false lashes for impact. I lined the lips using a black Kohl Eye Liner, then applied Volume Boost Lipstick to create a deep plum colour.
Collection 2000 – what it means to me
I love all the bright colours in the Collection 2000 range. The products are great value for money and I have far too many items from the range in my kit!

Sarah Vieira da Cruz
Style Inspiration for Sassy
My inspiration came from the 1940s and the 1950s. I just love the fashion and makeup in this era, the women seemed so flawless. They were always so perfect and tidy and their makeup was beautiful.
Make-up Used
I used several different shadows - two from Collection 2000 and two from another company. I gave my friend the top liner flick which was popular back then too. I used a matt foundation and deep red lipstick.
Collection 2000 – what it means to me
I love Collection 2000 because the colours are vibrant, bright and within my limited student budget. Not only are all the products great quality, but they’re available at a great price too.

Nina Lilliebjerg
Style Inspiration for Floral Rock
My inspiration comes from the contrast in trends seen on the catwalks this season. I’ve merged elements from the 80s punk era with flowery pinks and reds for a more feminine twist.
Make-up Used
I applied a thin layer of Sheer Moist Foundation to give a fresh, even complexion. Then I smudged ‘charcoal’ Colour Intense Solo Eye Shadow across the eyelids and added cat-like Fast Stroke Eye Liner and lashings of Volumax Mascara. for extra impact. To complete the look, I applied The Cheek Of It to lips and cheeks.
Collection 2000 – what it means to me
Collection 2000 was the first brand of make-up I began experimenting with. I really like the large range of eye shadow and nail varnish colours available and I really like how great value it is.
